We are excited to announce an upcoming workshop hosted by the Vulnerability & One Parent Family Network (VOPFN). This event aims to bring together historians, archivists, and representatives from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) across England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Our goal is to foster a collaborative environment where participants can share insights, discuss challenges, and explore the evolving role of history in shaping policies and experiences of one-parent families. We invite all interested parties to join us in this important dialogue as we work together to enhance support systems and policies for one-parent families.

For more information about VOPFN and our initiatives, please visit our About Us page.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Collaborative Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations with experts and practitioners dedicated to supporting one-parent families.
  • Research Presentations: Discover the latest findings from participatory research initiatives that examine the similarities and differences among NGOs working in this field.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to discussions on how historical perspectives can inform contemporary and future policies affecting one-parent families.
